A deep green with a subtle, but eye-catching sparkle which remains after firing. The perfect glass to add a shimmer to your work. Aventurine is a supersaturated chrome glass with metal flake glints in reflected light. For a lighter shade with the same sparkle try Light Aventurine Green. Please note that due to the density of this glass it appears quite opal rather than transparent.
Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in a huge variety of colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces.
Powder frits usually appear much lighter than their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour.
Stable. No colour shift.
