Bullseye Purple Opalescent Powder Frit.  

Gold Purple is a colour which strikes or matures to target. After firing to a full fuse the colour changes from a dark blue to a deep purple.

Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in a huge variety of colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces.

Cold characteristics: 

Powder frits usually appear much lighter than their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour.

Working notes: 

Matures to a consistent gold/purple. May become much darker when held at high temperatures for a long time.
