Deep Version:
This is the Deep version of the Kilncare Cub-fuser, providing a recessed chamber to give further internal height. Fantastic for drop-outs or larger castings. The length and width of the kiln remains the same as the standard Cub-fuser, but the internal height is increased to 330mm. The total external height increases to 635mm.

Stand (Optional):
The Cub-fuser stand has two shelves, one for the kiln to sit on and one for your own use. It raises the kiln by 650mm to a comfortable height. It is made of steel and is powder coated to match the kiln. The stand is supplied ready for assembly.
Shelf (Optional):
The optional shelf kit includes one shelf measuring 49cmx49cm, plus props.

Elements:
The kiln is equipped with high performance, hard-wearing infra-red quartz elements and well-designed insulation. It has a fast react thermocouple and is also fast cooling. The elements are located in the lid for even heating; this also makes them easy to replace if required. The elements are switched off when the lid is opened by an automatic safety switch.
Lid:
The lid is made from stainless steel: powder coated and oven baked. It is lined out with press cut, non-ceramic fibre. This eliminates the risk of brick dust particles dropping from the lid, making for a very clean firing environment. The lid construction enables the Cub-fuser to retain the heat when needed but still release heat rapidly during the all-important cool-down period.
The lid stays open once lifted, leaving you with both hands free to load or unload the kiln. There are also two handles for left or right hand lifting and a catch to hold the lid closed.
In the centre of the lid is a large spy/vent hole with spring return, anti dust flap - great for keeping an eye on your firing.
Base:
The base section of the chamber is made from lightweight refractory brick and is recessed to provide extra height to the chamber.
Controller
The Cub-fuser Deep comes with the KCR32C programmer which is a multi-program controller targeted towards glass use with 32 programs each of up to 32 segments. Each segment is a controlled heating/cooling ramp followed by a soak. It is supplied pre-programmed with 9 typical glass programs (which can be over-written).

Optional WiFi Controller Upgrade – Contact Customer Services for more details. This kiln is available with an optional upgrade to the KCR32CWIFI controller. The KCR32CWIFI is the same as the standard KCR32C, but in addition it offers real time kiln monitoring from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. The is enables the user to be able to view what the present status and temperature the kiln is, where it is in the given program, review the program, view error faults and manually stop the firing if needed. Safety:
The Cub-fuser is fitted with the KCX system. It will electronically monitor the temperature and shut down the kiln if it attempts to get hotter than the pre-set cut-off temperature of 970C, (10C above the maximum temperature of the kiln). If it is triggered it will make an audible alarm. This feature will work over and above the present safety features of the KCR16 controller so giving not only protection against a kiln issue, but safety against a controller issue also. We believe this is the only brand of kiln on the market that has its own, built in electronic monitoring system that doesn’t rely solely on the kiln controller for safety.
Delivery:
Delivery is kerbside only and does not include installation. Please consider that you may need help to situate the kiln. The kiln will be delivered boxed on a pallet measuring 104cm x 168cm.
Delivery is free to Mainland UK. Additional charges may apply if there is restricted access to property.
When your kiln is ready for delivery, we’ll contact you to book in a date that is convenient for you. Deliveries are Monday - Friday and someone will need to be available at the premises to take delivery of the kiln. We are unable to specify a delivery time until the morning of the scheduled delivery.
Deliveries outside the UK: Delivery charges vary. While we subsidise delivery costs where we can, for some destinations we may have to request an extra delivery charge in addition to the one calculated at checkout. If this is the case we will contact you as soon as possible to agree this with you, and always before the kiln is dispatched.
