This is a vibrant candy-apple red, with less of a pink shade than Garnet Red Transparent. It is a consistent shade which matures to its target colour on firing. Please note this colour is a striker.
Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in 103 colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces. Also available in a Powder, Fine or Coarse form.

Cold characteristics:
Fine and Medium frits usually appear lighter than their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour.
Working notes:
A cadmium/selenium glass. Generally fires deeper (more red) than cold.
This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can opalise and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period.
