Working Notes

If you are using clear glass with silver clay, use Crystal Clear as this is designed for working with silver.

Cold characteristics:

Very faint green tint when viewed on edge.

Stable. No colour shift.

Excellent glass at a really low price. I use it for capping mostly, when I want a slightly more delicate finish than two layers of 3mm. Surprising what a difference a millimetre makes! It's also great for layering with coloured 2mm pieces, again for a lighter finished product. Perfect for jewellery.
