1m Knitted Copper Wire Mesh

This is a knitted wire copper tube 13cm wide which naturally lays flat, but can be opened up into a tube with fantastic effect and is a fantastic way to add a decorative element to your fused glass work. 
The wire used is flat, like a very thin and narrow copper ribbon, rather than the more usual round section. 

It is visually very effective when flat, but open it up and it can be used in many other ways too.  Fuse it between two layers to achieve a variety of effects. 

The knitted threads can be put under tension / stretched apart or pushed together to create different effects.

The tube is light in weight and it can be cut to length using shears or heavy duty scissors.
