Bullseye opalescent sheet glass has an assertiveness and complexity of colour that isn’t matched anywhere. These sheets, when held to light, respond with a fascinating array of complementary hues—like an opal.

Working Notes

Contains:

Sulphur

May react with:

Copper, Lead, Silver

Cold characteristics: 

Colour variations common, from minty-pastel to vibrant yellow-green.

Working notes: 

Lighter colouration matures and becomes consistent to target upon firing. A sulphur glass. May react with lead and copper glasses to create dark interface (lead sulphide, copper sulphide).

This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can opalise and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. 

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for
applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless
otherwise stated in the description).
