Add unique shapes and movement to glass projects with our versatile hand pulled vitrigraph stringer.
100g Jar
Hand-pulled Vitrigraph stringers from Bullseye CoE90 glass.
Threads of glass pulled from remelted Bullseye compatible sheets, creating random spirals, curves and twists.
Variations can be a mixture of transparent, opal and streaky glass. Each pot contains a good mix of thicknesses, shapes and sizes including long, medium, short and very short 'murrine'-style pieces, a variety of curves and at least one spiral section.
Working Notes: Due to the nature of production, vitrigraph stringer is not pre-annealed. To prevent shock to the glass on firing, we would recommend reducing the initial ramp speed to 80-150C per hour, depending on thickness (the thicker the piece the slower the rate).
Made locally by our Warm Glass instructor Becky Wills.
Please note this product is very fragile and small breakages may occur in transit.
All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).
I love working with these, and have had some super decorative results. It's a pity some arrive broken, but all the bits are useful!
