This shade is effective for stained glass as it creates a cats paw pattern and allows maximum light transmission, the pattern will vary in part sheets and can be very subtle in some sheets. However this shade isn't designed for kilnforming as when fired Lacy White strikes to an even white with unpredictable density.

Bullseye opalescent sheet glass has an assertiveness and complexity of colour that isn’t matched anywhere. These sheets, when held to light, respond with a fascinating array of complementary hues—like an opal.

Cold Characteristics:

White translucent glass with clear dapples, suggesting lace.
(000143-0030): Light opalescent white. Cold sheet may show variation in
opacity.

Working Notes:

Single Rolled -0000 White translucent glass with clear
dapples, suggesting lace. Designed for stained glass applications. Tested and
graded for compatibility, but fusing will strike the sheet to solid white, with
varying degrees of density. Double Rolled -0030 Light opalescent white. Cold
sheet may show variation in opacity. Strikes to solid white when fused. 

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and
suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass
slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).
