Bullseye opalescent sheet glass has an assertiveness and complexity of colour that isn’t matched anywhere. These sheets, when held to light, respond with a fascinating array of complementary hues—like an opal.

Working Notes

Contains:

Selenium, Sulphur

Reactive Potential:

May react with Copper, Lead, Silver

Cold Characteristics:

This style may not reveal (or strike to) its target colour until fired.

May appear very muted grey/brown with streaks or variation

in colour density.

Working Notes:

Matures to a red/cinnabar colour. May appear slightly dappled.

This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can become
incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period.
