Very dark glass. Little light transmission in 3 mm thickness.

Too Dark

Unfortunately I didn't read the comments before ordering a big sheet of this "purple" glass. The glass isn't the warm purple colour shown in the image above, but instead almost black. Unless the glass is held infront of extreme light it looks completely black, and therefore is also not transparent.

Looks quite black

I was expecting this to look more purple but it does look quite black, as other reviews have said.

Nice glass, but image misleading. I wanted a royal purple to use with black in stripes, unfortunately this looks the same as black opal unless backlight with quite a strong light.

This is a lovely purple but can look quite dark, almost black in some situations but still a great colour to have.
