What is Curious Glass?
'Curious' glass is glass that has not reached the target colour, includes imperfections or is experimental. It is still Bullseye compatible, CoE90. Available at a discount, this glass will only be around for a limited time so don't miss out.

This pack consists of ten 3mm curious circles, 10cm or 20cm in diameter. You will receive a mix of iridescent, decorative and colours (mix of transparent and opal), please note products may differ from the pictures shown.

Please note these packs may contain striker glasses, meaning that they will appear pale or colourless and "strike" to the target colour only after firing.

Create bowls, plates and other circular designs with ease using our pre-cut glass circles.  Simply decorate the circle then top with a clear circle of the same size. It couldn't be easier!

All circles are hand cut by our expert team so you can avoid breakage, avoid waste and save time. Nicely finished and ideal for use with the 8136 spherical mould.

  • Circle Diameter: 20cm
  • Glass thickness: 3mm

Due to their hand-cut nature, circles may occasionally have very minor points around the edge. These will simply fire out or can be easily removed with a sickle stone.

Working Note

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

I ordered this pack of 10 x 20cm pre-cut circles, as they were great value in the sale! A good mix between transparent, and opaque, streaky, one irid...I'll have to check the Bullseye catalogue and try to identify what they all are. There is one that I think may well be a striker, but as there are no markings, this could be the surprise! Time will tell...

These are really good, I had one circle that was fabulous when fired. It would be helpful to know which ones strike and to roughly what colour, this would also help indicate if there are likely to be any reactions if mixing colours. It's still a nice treat to have a box of these.

I think this is the best pack or kit I've ever bought.

I cut most of the circles up and mixed and matched stripes from different circles to make 10 different patterned circular bowls. Combined with a 10 pack of clear Tekta circles, this was super quick and easy, and resulted in 10 stunning patterned bowls in less than half an hour! Great fun and very easy. Now I just have to find the time and kiln space to fire them all!

The only downside is that the 1 striker circle I got wasn't labelled, so I wasn't sure what colour it would end up. This is mentioned in the listing though, and I guess that is part of the fun!
