Product Details

Product Information

Simply fill the body with coarse frit and the ring with medium frit and fire.  Add some holiday ribbon for a finished piece or use as embellishments on plates and candle holders.

All our moulds are designed for multiple use and with care should last for many firings.

Dimensions

Mould size: 17cm x 17 cm.

Each firing creates four finished icicles ranging from 10.5cm to 12.5cm long.  

Please note that all our moulds are hand-made and therefore the dimensions may vary slightly from those shown. Mould manufacturers allow a tolerance of up to 2cm. We strongly recommend cutting the glass to the size measured from the actual mould rather than relying solely on the dimensions shown.

Excellent mould. Works better with finer frit. For coloured icicles I use half colour and half clear. Iridised clear gives good results. Very subtle. I am hoping that white rainbow iridised frit will be available for next year as I think that will produce really good icicles.

For something different I did a 'tac' program with clear and dichroic flakes. Very sparkly.

I would recommend this icicle mould. There are different sizes and each time I have used this mould each icicle is unique . I have used many colours of fine frit and each time they look as good as if it was the first time I have used mould .
