A deep, rich orange to red colour which accurately fulfils its name.

Try firing a clear texture or pattern on top of the colour for dazzling
designs!

For a darker red try Cyan/Dark Red.

About Dichroic Glass: Dichroic is a multi-layer coating placed on glass using a technical process known as thin film coating. Dichroic glass has a transmitted colour and a completely different reflective colour; these two colours shift depending on the angle of view. The play of light together with its vibrant colour makes Dichroic glass a prime tool to add interest to any kiln glass work. 

CBS have been manufacturing this product longer than anyone in the business and their Dichroic glass is Bullseye compatible and is consistently of high quality.

Quarter Sheet Sizing: 

Quarter sheets of Dichroic glass are a quarter of a circle. The area of a quarter sheet is around 450 sq cm, which is about the same area as 4.5 10x10cm sheets.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

A really strong red to use on its own or to cap with Light Pink Striker bullseye glass to create wonderful depth. I mostly use it for jewellery.

I prefer the old recipe for Candy Apple Red. Back then it was my favourite colour as it had a deep pink hue on the edges, and was more red in general. This version, which has been out half a dozen years I am guessing, is more of a coppery red/orange. Still lovely, and very striking. looks sensational made into jewellery.

A really good 'red' red. I love pairing this with cyan/copper which I find a very striking contrast.

Try firing a layer of transparent light pink striker 1215 over this to create a rich, true red. It creates a wonderful colour

Of the dichroic glass, this red color is the one I love the most. The cyan/red looks more orange and the dark dark red is not as vibrant as this one.You need to try this one.
