Perfect for fused light shades, it fires to an even white but stays more translucent than White. The level of opacity of this colour can be controlled by the firing temperature to an extent. It must be noted that the cold sheet appears clear and may have irregular white markings.

Bullseye opalescent sheet glass has an assertiveness and complexity of colour that isn’t matched anywhere. These sheets, when held to light, respond with a fascinating array of complementary hues—like an opal.

Cold characteristics: 

May appear mostly clear with patches of thin milky white.

Working notes: 

Opalises upon firing. Consistent colour, thin milky white. Colour may become slightly streaky and transparent with excessive heatwork.

suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass
slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

Love this glass - it gives a beautiful glow when backlit, find it much softer then the brighter whites.

This is just what I wanted, it's not patchy. Be warned! In its cold state it is clear so keep it away from any clear scraps you have, getting them confused doesn't end well!!
