Whiting Powder is used after the cementing process when using the lead came technique. The powder absorbs any excess moisture in the cement so it will dry quicker and set correctly, simply sprinkle over any areas of cement and leave for up to 24 hours, remember to do both sides of your glass piece!

Once your cement has dried you can use a scrubbing brush and plastic fid to remove the powder and any excess cement.
