Create a huge range of colours using small amounts of coloured powder

Frit tinting is a great way to create an almost limitless variety of colour blends by adding glass powder to clear frit.  A small amount of powder goes a very long way and it is a fantastic technique for creating colours that can be hard to produce in kilncasting, such as reds, yellows and oranges.

For frit tinting you will need:

• Bullseye Powders?
• Bullseye Clear Frit in Fine, Medium, Coarse or Extra Large
• A spray bottle filled with water
• A kilncasting mould, or dam lined with 3mm Fibre Paper
• Kitchen Scales
• Lidded containers for mixing the frit
